Whether you’re brand-new to fly fishing or you’ve been casting for years, you’re invited to Bethany College for our first-ever Fly Fishing Rodeo. Spend the morning on campus meeting the Bethany community, learning new skills, and competing for prizes and Bethany swag — with Buffalo Creek running right around campus.

What You’ll Do

Throughout the event, you’ll have a chance to:

• Meet Bethany faculty and staff

• Connect with current Fly Fishing Club members and team members

• Take a campus tour

• Join skill-building sessions and fun competitions for all levels

• Intro to Fly Tying Seminar

• Intro to Fly Casting Seminar

• Intermediate Fly Casting

• Fly Casting Competition (all skill levels) — prizes + Bethany swag

• Fly Tying Contest (all skill levels)

• “First of Its Kind” creative tying challenge: Tie with what you find
